Peach Moonstone


Peach moonstone is a variety of moonstone. The colors of peach moonstone can vary between a dark brown to a very pale peach pink. As a member of the feldspar group, it can hold bands of silvery white reflections. Moonstones hold an adularescence play of color on the stone. This is what displays the bluish white sheen of colors found on the rainbow moonstones. Peach moonstone can hold the same small bands in plays of white and even clear.


Properties of Peach Moonstone:


Peach moonstone holds all of the unique and beautiful properties of moonstone, and its own added compassion. Moonstone is a stone of new beginnings, strongly connected to the moon. Historically moonstone has been used as a talisman, and the Romans believed it to have been created from moonbeams. The shimmery appearance on the stone face reminded many of the shifting phases of the moon. It was often gifted to lovers, believing it would inspire love and keep the mind clear. It would be used to honor the Lunar Deities and be considered a gift from the Moon itself.

Sunstone gives off a coppery and red flash. Moonstone lends itself to blue and the peach moonstone silvery hues. They have the ability to work together like Yin and Yang.
